The following broker recommendation changes and initiations / resumptions of coverage have been made today.

Nomura has upgraded African Barrick Gold [LON:ABG] to ‘buy’ from ‘reduce’, price target cut to 155 pence per share from 200 pence.

Nomura has upgraded Polymetal International [LON:POLY] to ‘buy’ from ‘neutral’, price target cut to 590 pence per share from 900 pence.

Nomura has upgraded Randgold Resources [LON:RRS] to ‘neutral’ from ‘reduce’, price target cut to 4,370 pence per share from 4,650 pence.

Cantor Fitzgerald has upgraded Moss Bros [LON:MOSB] to ‘buy’ from ‘hold’, price target left unchanged at 65 pence per share.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has downgraded Lamprell [LON:LAM] to ‘neutral’ from ‘buy’, price target cut to 160 pence per share from 180 pence.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has upgraded Wood Group [LON:WG.] to ‘buy’ from ‘neutral’, price target increased to 1,040 pence per share from 940 pence.

Deutsche Bank has downgraded Meggitt [LON:MGGT] to ‘hold’ from ‘buy’, price target increased to 525 pence per share from 495 pence.

Societe Generale has upgraded SABMiller [LON:SAB] to ‘buy’ from ‘hold’, price target increased to 3,620 pence per share from 3,250 pence.

Numis has upgraded Redrow [LON:RDW] to ‘hold’ from ‘reduce’ with a revised price target of 230 pence per share.

Morgan Stanley has upgraded Victrex [LON:VCT] to ‘equal-weight’ from ‘underweight’, price target increased to 1,600 pence per share from 1,550 pence.

Morgan Stanley has upgraded Johnson Matthey [LON:JMAT] to ‘equal-weight’ from ‘underweight’, price target increased to 2,570 pence per share from 2,200 pence.

At 4:12pm:

African Barrick Gold share price was down 0.1 pence at 105.2 pence.

Lamprell share price was down 7.87 pence at 137.88 pence.

Moss Bros share price was up 0.5 pence at 57 pence.

Polymetal International share price was down 32.1 pence at 471.4 pence.

Randgold Resources share price was down 231.5 pence at 4,069.5 pence.
